By the sea in Køge, Denmark, about 30 minutes from Copenhagen, you’ll find ROX Resort – a destination where modern design, international elegance and relaxed holiday living come together. Part of ESS Group, the hotel offers more than 150 rooms, restaurants, meeting and event spaces, as well as a Pool Club & Spa with heated pools overlooking the sea.
At ROX Resort, every detail has been carefully selected to create an environment with a distinct identity of its own. Clean lines are combined with soft materials, bold expressions and carefully chosen details. Even the ceiling plays an important role in the overall design.
For the project, Akustikmiljö supplied custom-made acoustic ceiling tiles. The tiles feature a unique print that complements the character of the hotel and gives the ceiling a distinctive visual expression. The result is a solution where acoustic performance and design work together, making the ceiling a natural part of the interior.
A unique project that shows how good acoustics can contribute to both the atmosphere of a space and the overall experience.
